Viewing Night - Stargazers Lawn Sat 16th March
Following on from the success of our previous SCS Members Viewing Night here are details of the next one.
These viewing nights are for SCS members to get together with their telescopes, do some viewing of the night sky, sort out any problems or questions you may have about your equipment and generally have a nice evening without the general public and crowds ….. just us in a relaxed atmosphere. If you don’t have a telescope but just want to come along and catch up with your fellow SCS friends that’s fine too.
A fun way to combine night viewing and a social night.
Details of the evening:
Saturday 16th March 2024
Arrive around 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. or around dusk to set up. (Sunset is around 7:00 p.m.)
Or if you like …. arrive earlier and bring a picnic.
Venue:
Stargazers Lawn at Barangaroo. (Same venue as the November 2023 Viewing Night)
1 Merriman St, Barangaroo.
A 300 space car park is nearby, it is also accessible from Wynyard train station.
